Battlefield 1 update will make some rather large changes to Scouting class

DICE is still making changes to Battlefield 1, and one of the biggest to come will be for the Scout class. An upcoming update to Battlefield 1 will change how the Scout class works. According to Westie, the class has a “Sweet Spot” mechanic which makes it so a round fired will increase up to 100 damage, allowing a player to one-shot another in the upper torso. DICE making sniping a bit more challenging in an attempt to remove a gameplay barrier for newer players. When a player activates the Sweet Spot mechanic during an active gunfight, the following will apply: A new rainbow lens flare has been added to all rifle variants using Sniper, Marksman and Patrol scopes to communicate to the player being sniped at if they’re in the Sweet Spot range. This will allow them to adapt and change their next move, potentially not being hit and taken down in one hit. Wild West Online is coming to Steam May 10

After a few months of exclusive availability on developer WWO Partners’ website, Wild West Online will soon be ready for launch on Steam. The developer has announced that Wild West Online will hit Steam on May 10. The announcement does not say whether the game will be releasing as a Steam Early Access title or not, though this is likely considering how early it is. Wild West Online is a Red Dead Redemption-style Wild West-themed MMO. After initially planning to take the concept to Kickstarter, developer WWO Partners was able to secure funding and the game continued development shortly after. It’s been available in paid early access since November last year, and you can still buy your way into it through the official site . In fact, doing so now will also get you a Steam key when it launches on Steam. Shadow of the Tomb Raider pre-orders give 48 hours early access, Season Pass detailed

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will have various editions available for purchase, and a nice incentive for those who pre-order. Square Enix unveiled Shadow of the Tomb Raider in full today along with early details on the Season Pass. There’s scant information on the various editions which will be made available, but what we know is posted below. Along with the standard edition for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, there’s the Ultimate Edition, Croft Edition and Steelbook Edition. Square will also offer a Digital Deluxe sku, and you can get a look at the mocks up through the leaked images posted earlier today . Images of the Ultimate Edition’s contents weren’t made available as of press time, but thanks to Resetera, a rather blurry look at the sku will suffice for now. Let’s sit down and take the time to appreciate the many different ways Kratos calls Atreus ‘Boy’ in God of War. If you’ve been following God of War at all, regardless of whether or not you actually played it, you will no doubt have noticed that Kratos sure does call his son Atreus ‘Boy’ a lot. He does it so much and in so many parts of the game. His love for the world was pretty clear from the pre-release coverage, but no one could have prepared the world for how many times he actually says it over the course of the 40-hour game.
