Twitch now lets you filter PUBG streams by the number of remaining players

Thanks to Twitch’s new stream filters, you’re now able to filter PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds streams based on surviving players. Twitch launched this new set of custom filters earlier, and they’re available to everyone watching PUBG streams. The filters allow you to sort by team type (solo, duo, squad), and even by the number of remaining players in the round. You can choose from ‘More than 50′, ’25-50’, or fewer than 25 for the most hectic streams. The filters work in a similar way to the language filters, and you’ll be able to see the results on the spot. No one likes a chicken dinner when it’s cold. Be there for the big moments by watching @PUBG on Twitch with our new custom filters. pic.twitter.com/A4w2z0Bs2s — Twitch (@Twitch) May 15, 2018 The new filters definitely sound cool, but they are not the first PUBG-related innovation from a streaming platform. Monster Hunter World Horizon Zero Dawn event: how to get Aloy’s Armor and Bow

Part two of Monster Hunter World’s Horizon Zero Dawn event, The Proving, is live and in order to acquire Aloy’s armor and bow, you’ll need to check a few things off your list.

The second part of Monster Hunter World’s Horizon Zero Dawn event exclusive to PlayStation 4 kicked off today, and we’re here to help you acquire all things Aloy.

Earlier this month the starting phase of The Proving tasked Monster Hunter World players on PS4 with hitting Hunter Rank 11 by February 28. Hopefully this provided players plenty of time to reach the set rank.

After hitting Rank 11, players will need to fight a Giant Anjanath. If you are unfamiliar with the monster, here’s how to kill the standard version of Anjanath in Monster Hunter World.

Once the Giant Anjanath is brought down, special materials and other loot items dropped can be taken to the blacksmith to craft. Killing this monster will also guarantee a Gold Crown for your Guild Card.

Now that you have all of the general information on The Proving, it’s time to go get that sweet Aloy armor.

Monster Hunter World – How to get the Aloy Armor and Bow

This is a full armor set, and because of this, it will not be compatible with other armor sets in Monster Hunter World. When donned, players will not only be dressed as Aloy, they will look like her too whether  a male or female character was created.

In order to craft Aloy’s armor, first you will need to visit the quest board, scrolls down to the Events section, and select the quest The Proving. In order to accept the quest, you will need to be Hunter Rank 11 or higher.

After accepting the quest, head over to the Ancient Forest to find the Giant Anjanath. Once the monster is downed, materials such as an Anjanath Scale, multiple pelts, and other items will drop. These are some of the items players will need in order to craft Aloy’s armor and bow.

Players will also acquire one or two Nora Brave Trophy tickets per Giant Anjanath run. Nine in total are needed: four for the armor; two for the bow; and three for the second bow upgrade.

Once players have everything needed to craft the armor and bow, they should head over to the Smithy, scroll down to Full Armor Sets, and turn over the materials.

In order to craft Aloy’s full armor set, players will need 14 Giant Anjanath Pets, six of its Nosebones, one Anjanath Gem, and four Nora Brave Trophy tickets. It will also cost 30,000 Zenny.

Monster Hunter World – Aloy Armor Skills

While Aloy’s armor in Monster Hunter World comes with its own set of skill bonuses, it can also be upgraded and augmented if the player wishes to make it a viable set of kit. Standard skills and Anjanath kill set bonuses, are posted below.

Aloy Armor Skill Set

  • Adrenaline (Anjanath Will 2 set bonus): Temporarily reduces stamina depletion when health is 40% or lower.
  • Stamina Cap Up (Anjanath Will 4 set bonus): Increases stamina cap.
  • Marathon Runner Level 2: Slows down stamina depletion by 30% for actions which continuously drain stamina, such as dashing.
  • Slinger Capacity Level 2: Increases the loading capacity for slinger ammo obtained in the field. In addition, it also increases the capacity for some slinger ammo dropped by monsters.
  • Stealth Level 2: When this skill is at level 2, it makes it slightly easier for monsters to lose sight of you.
  • Weakness Exploit Level 1: This stat increases the affinity of the attacks that exploit a monster’s weak spot. At level 1, attacks that hit weak spots have 15% increased affinity.
  • Scenthound Level 1: Increases scoutflies’ gauge fill rate by 50% when you find tracks or other traces left by monsters.
  • Affinity Sliding Level 1: Increases affinity by 30% for a short time after sliding.

Each piece of the Aloy Armor in Monster Hunter World also comes with a nice selection of decorations slots. The arms, head, leggings, and torso slots allow one decoration each, and the body piece has two slots. Aloy’s bow features one decoration slot. Players are also able to boost some skills sets up to level 3.

Speaking of the bow, let’s have a look at it.

Monster Hunter World – Aloy Bow and War Bow Upgrade

In order to craft Aloy’s bow in Monster Hunter World, players will need the following items dropped from the Giant Anjanath: two Nora Brave Trophy tickets, three Anjanath Fangs, five Monster Keenbones, and one Anjanath Plate. It will also cost 16,000 Zenny.

Once players have everything need to craft the bow, they need to head over to the Smithy and turn over the materials.

Aloy’s standard bow has a hidden Thunder Element of 180, 20% affinity and a 168 base 168  – but it can be upgraded to a Rarity Six item called Aloy’s War Bow.

In order to upgrade Aloy’s base bow in Monster Hunter World to the War Bow, players will need to gather more materials. This means you’ll have to fight the Giant Anjanath again to acquire some of the items needed.

Because of this, it’s probably best to fight the beast over and over again before forging both the armor, the bow and the bow upgrade to save some running back and forth. It wouldn’t hurt to fight an Elder Dragon and a Wyvern beforehand either, as materials dropped from these Monster Hunter World beasts are also required.

Here’s what you will need to upgrade Aloy’s bow to the War Bow: three Nora Brave Trophy tickets, seven Anjanath Scales, three Elder Dragon Bones, and one Wyvern Gem. It will also cost 32,000 Zenny.

Once crafted, the War Bow has a 192 base attack, 30% affinity, hidden thunder element of 240 and a level 3 slot.

It also features three slots for augmentation but, unfortunately, it doesn’t support Power Coatings.

The Proving runs through March 15, which should give players plenty of time to earn the Aloy armor and bow. If for some reason they don’t, like other Monster Hunter World event quests, The Proving will rotate in and out.

This also includes the Palico Watcher Machine gear event which ended on February 9.

If you’re wondering whether the Horizon Zero Dawn set is  worth the trouble, be sure to compare it to other armor in Monster Hunter World. If you’re interested in how the bow ranks compared to other Monster Hunter World weapons, you can research that as well.

Of course, whether it’s worth all the work or not is entirely up to you. Still, it would be rather cool to run around Monster Hunter World looking like Aloy.
