Destiny fans should be familiar with clan Redeem, the raiding team who has many Destiny records to its name.
Clan Redeem was the first fireteam to clear Destiny’s Wrath of the Machine raid, and the first to finish the Prestige Leviathan raid in Destiny 2. Over the weekend, the team added a new record to its cabinet.
Clan Redeem was the first to finish the Spire of the Stars raid lair, part of the Warmind expansion. By most accounts, this is Destiny’s hardest challenge ever, mostly because it requires a power level of 370, a full 30 levels above the game’s new soft cap of 340.
This not only makes the grind to be raid-ready take a pretty long time, it also means that you may have to go in underpowered if you want to be the first to clear the raid.
After checking the data, Bungie verified that clan Redeem’s victory did not make use of any exploits. It took the team six and a half hours, or 394 minutes to be exact. Combined, they died 598 times and got a total of 11,864 kills.
Congratulations from @Bungie and @VvisionsStudio to clan
Redeem for achieving the world’s first completion of the Spire of Stars Raid Lair.Good Game.

Watch the video below for the full run, if you dare.
If you’re not high enough yet to tackle Spire of the Stars, you check out the Escalation Protocol co-op horde mode. You can even bring nine players into it, if you know what you’re doing.
